Audio Bible’s

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

At Dinner Church, we emphasize two values:

#1: We are not a soup kitchen.

#2: We take Bible studies seriously.

As we started to do our Bible studies, we decided that it is best to take a book from the Bible and study it, verse by verse. We have a very diverse study group, ranging from people who have a good understanding of the Bible to those who have only heard a few stories. By focusing on a chapter at a time, everyone will be receiving the Word, providing baby food to the spiritual infants while at the same time going deeper with those that have some knowledge of the Bible.

As our group began to study the Gospel of Mark, it became evident that we had a few people that struggled with reading. This situation inspired us to find other ways for our attendees who cannot read to engage in God's Word. The solution was very simple.

When I was younger, I did a lot of missionary work in South America. There, our mission group would purchase Audio Bibles for people who had little education and make their living by working the fields. Our Bible study staff had a similar idea: we decided to buy audio Bibles for people that have difficulties reading, so they can learn the Bible by listening.

One of my close friends heard about our intention to purchase Audio Bibles, and his family purchased five audio bibles for our ministry. We thank God for the people from diverse points of life who step up to support our ministry. However, our group is still in need of fifteen more audio Bibles.

Recently, we purchased the single books Gospel of Mark for those attending our studies. These copies enable them to take notes and follow along as we go verse by verse through the Scriptures.
